Paruthi's house prayer

My bro mentioned seeing this majestic photo of Lord Shiva months ago and I saw him trying so hard finding for it. And then randomly, after months he came across this photo.
And when I saw it, I was speechless.
Something about his face,his body language.
Like as if he rules all. :)
I saw how many people commented on my bro's fb when they saw it. By far, the best ever.
So yes! Coming back.
I feel happy.
This really awesome feeling.
I can't describe.

Oh so yesterday was a tiring day for me!!
Woke up at 7 to get ready for usual dance class and then after class , Sindhu and I went over for some prayer at one of the Bhajan guys house, Paruthi/Samsu's house actually.
It was damn nice la!
Like from the ground floor we could hear the tavil sound and all.
I was excited la.
I love that bhajan group la seriously.
So yes!!
We went up and it was packed even in the outside, so we used this chance to stand outside, cause I predicted many getting trance.
And saw all the familiar ones, Ashwini first and foremost! Lol. (I love this babe! :) )
Murali,Deeban,Vinoth,Dino,Ravi! Hahaha.
Ravi's the funniest guy I've met la.
And so! We stood outside while the bhajan guys continued.
And then I realised my AWESOME cousins(brothers/sister) didnt come when we planned to meet at the house itself.
OMG la?
I tried calling my awesome lookalike sis 50000 times but she didnt answer.
So Sindhu and I were being forced to enter the house but we didnt la.
But the guys sang damn well as usual, and the Altar!
The make shift one for that day, was amazingly beautiful.
Like the Goddess sat in between the Elephant and the Monkey god.
And the Monkey God was omg beautiful la!
Seriously.
The goddess was beautified too.
Tsktsk.
And then the music got faster, vibrations higher, and before we know it, Paruthi's dad got the trance, and it was scary la, Sindhu was like holding me so tightly it hurt!
And beside him, Vinoth's dad got it.
And I like seeing that uncle get cause, he starts speaking in Sanskrit!
Seriously.
And he was fiercer than I've seen before, yesterday.
But it was nice.
And then came Paruthi/Samsu, as much as I've heard about him getting Anjanayar(Monkey-god)'s trance I was silently fearing yet anticipating it kinda?All I know was my cousins all havent seen it and they would love to have seen it cause they're always talking about it.
SO yeh,coming back.
All I remember seeing was his dad blessing him, and then suddenly his body vibrated so much and he was like transfixed on something and I remember him,just, I don't know how to describe it, but he jumped into the prayer room from the hall.
I was happy la, cause I was standing outside the house, and I didn't wanna see him in action cause I was scared..
While some other uncles got it and my oh my was it fierce, and I remember alot of people were going into the altar room to get blessings from the Anjanayar(Who was residing in Paruthi's body) and they all came out with big smiles and I was thinking why.
I think he had the trance for damn long, cause after about 45 mins he jumped into the hall and he came to play with the bhajan guys and whoever was around in the hall.
And that moment, I swear was the cutest of all.
Like seriously, I only had the back view and side view most of times cause, Sindhu and I were looking through the window panels and it was sucha nice sight.
Like I heard about how people who get monkey god trance usually behaves exactly like a monkey, very playful and all, and he was so cute la.
Wahhhh!
Like the bhajan guys were singing a Anjanayar song just so he knows they are singing praises of him and he would get so happy and throw flowers at them all, and people continued coming to him for blessing, as he rubbed the holy ash on their forehead he would present them with a banana.
And that was the best part.
Like his friend Ravi, whom he obviously didn't know was his friend at that stage was being bullied by him.
So he would hand Ravi a fruit and before Ravi could take it he would throw it at him.
Then we all laughed, and then he handed some grape fruits to the girl next to him(who was his own sister kinda) and gave one to Ravi, and before Ravi could take it, he snatched it.
DAMN CUTE.
And then when I felt as if he was going to turn to face us I would glide down, didnt wanna be called in la.
But Sindhu will stand there bravely, and since she knows him personally she didnt mind going in, but she didnt until there was this part he turned and signalled us in.
And I disappeared within the fraction of second when I realised he was turning his neck to us, and how he knew there were people behind him-Thanks to Ravi who pointed to the back.
But seriously, it was almost like seeing a real monkey there, and for us Hindus its a blessed thing when someone comes down with a Monkeygod trance so it was nice.
So while I was forced by so many people to go in, I didnt.
And Sindhu went la!
SHOCK!
Lol.
So she went, and he apparently gave her the cheeky stare, rubbed some ash on her forehead and gave her vadai.
For us Hindus, monkey god's main items are bananas and vadais.
So yeh! And Sindhu like really liked it(As in seeing him in trance), cause she came out with a smile.
Then apparently, Vinoth was singing too loudly that the Anjanayar didnt like it, so he stared at him just pulled the mike away from his mouth.
Lol, damn cute laaaaaa.
And all these while he was behaving exactly like a Monkey, I swear it was sucha cute sight seeing him swallow like 23456789 bananas, but I didnt go in till the end and I'll get scolded for that later la.....-.-...but yeh !
Hahahaha.
I entered in when everyone left, as in all those who had the trance left, and we settled for the last 4/5 songs and it was a good session clapping along singing!
While Sindhu got her favourite song being sung, I was just enjoying my time there.
Love the altar so much.
Seriously.
The Anjanayar statue was damn nice.
Never seen a smiling one like him before.

So pretty!
And then we had some time to chill before everyone left and so Sindhu headed home and I headed to my Eldest sis's place for a meeting!
My family is the bestest I can get, seriously, the things we'll have gatherings or meetings for can be for something random or something highly important, and that day it was highly important.
We're all going to India in December and so issues such as security,cheaters,financial were all discussed about.
And it was so funny, cause it was a meeting involving everyone, like from our parents, to uncles,aunties and to us cousins raising our point or views/concerns and having them answered by my dad,bro and brother in law.
My Seanpaul cousin's son came ! My favourite nephew, I love that one alot la.
Like omg la, he has dimples la, any my loved ones all know how envious I get of people having dimples.
My future boyfriend has to have to!
Lol.
Afterwhich we had dinner, and I couldnt wait to go home cause I felt so tired la.
Like waking up for 7 for dance and then going for prayer and then going to the west of Singapore for a gathering tired me okay!
And then back home in a cab = bliss.
And some people will fall asleep and I couldnt talk to them.
So thats how my weekend went. :)

So here I am continuing the post only on Wednesday when its supposed to be up 2 days ago.
But yeh!
Its Sindhu's birthday tomorrow and she's finally turning 18.
