And so... like everytime a group sings a song their turns end.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And a song lasts for like 10 mins, and then the next group sings.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">So since JH Bhajan group was the last in queue I had to wait like 90 mins before seeing them in action.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">It was a painstaking wait k!</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">8/10 groups were really making noise...like omg noise...forgetting that a mike amplifies their voice they scream into the mike and it was ohsopainful to my ears.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And I wanted to video the guys I came for and so I did.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">I swear the first song was AWESOMELY beautiful, like all the other groups were really taken aback. That I gauged by their claps at the end of it. Cause these guys were the youngest but they really sang as if they've been singing for a long time.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And the first song was a dedication to Lord Shiva, and so dear old brother of mine was obviously loving it and so was I.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">The vocalist who's nick named as Paruthi was so so talented la, he actually penned down the song himself?</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And Vinod played the tavil(One of the Indian drums) and the remaining guys played the other instruments/clapped/sing along.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And it was mind blowing honestly.<br />And one more thing I really liked was their uniform? Like most groups wore same colour or same tailored suits but these boys were a variety of similar tops, and these tops had like the 'OM' prints on them.<br /></span><object style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);" width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4uwwbzuuk8g&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0xcc2550&amp;color2=0xe87a9f&amp;border=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4uwwbzuuk8g&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0xcc2550&amp;color2=0xe87a9f&amp;border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And then the cycle repeats, one song per group and I waited for another hour for the second song okay! And afterwhich they had a mass Urumi(Another famous Indian drum) session. And that was 80% more on the drum playing than singing.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And I am not exactly a fan of that. So yeah, all the guys who came to support JHB were talking and I was waiting for them to be done and finally off home!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And I went over to Gaga's place cause her mum threw a feast for Viknesh who was going of to camp soon which was yesterday. Efficient or what.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">But what I didn't expect at all was the call made for me by Vinod the following day(Monday).</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">He called my brother to ask if he could have my number. Somehow he saw the videos I uploaded.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">But since my line's down -.- -.- -.- , my bro passed his phone to me and Vinod was really nice to thank me for the videos la.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">But I honestly didn't do it for them or anything of that sort, only cause they're worth being recorded to be watched again. And my brother went all the way to even connect his camera to my tv so we can watch it in a clearer definition. Hahaha. But yes, I think these guys are awesome.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">And so 4 Oct, a day before firewalking ceremony, they'll be performing along with the group that came to my house prayers ? I don't know whats their group name, but these 2 groups, probably the best two I've heard are performing at 2 pm at South Bridge temple. So Yay for me! :)</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">I hate the fact that I don't have a phone la, I didnt really mind till earlier.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">My bestfriend's in hospital to have his appendix removed, and he was admitted yesterday and I only knew today and like his sis had to leave me an offline message in MSN.Thank God she thought of that.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 204, 255);">I am off now! </span><div style="clear:both; padding-bottom:0.25em"></div> <div class="head"> Seconday school catch ups </div> <div class="date"> Sunday, September 06, 2009 </div> <p> <div style="clear:both;"></div><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">I know its been damn long but seriously my past 1 week has been honestly heartwarming.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">It started on 31st August when I decided to head down to my Secondary school to meet up my fellow teachers and what pleasant surprise it was to see Jeronme,Joel and Justin.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Haha.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">And it was a good thing for me. I played as the Human la.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">And walau, the fun thing was we all had like headphone/speaker so we could talk and didnt have to literally face each other and yell cause when I needed help I just need to yell but no they intentionally scared me by disallowing me to enter the room and purposely creating a tank!</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">THANKS DANIEL!!</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Damn it.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Hahaha.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">But it was a good day with the best classmates I can ever ask for.We had a good time speaking about our Sec 4 days and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We made plans to meet up soon and its just beautiful isnt it?</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">We graduated in 2005 and its 2009 and we still have shitloads to speak about laugh about.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">So yes, seeing as it was time for me to walk down memory lane, I made plans and finally made it happen to meet up with Tia.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Haha, we were rather ambitious to head down to Causeway though we lived like 5 mins from each other and since it rained that day we just settled for the Macdonalds at Admiralty.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Seeing her immediately brought me back memories right from the time we started talking.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">She has become alot more prettier than I remember.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">I just felt so comfortable sharing all that has been going down for me and I was really happy she shared her stuffs too. Like its a bond which doesnt need to be strengthened by meeting/talking but the mutual understanding trust and love we'll always have for each other.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">I will still always remember you for the way you stood up for me love! No one did that for me then, but only you.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">And yes, after reading your blog, I realised! OMG YOU REMEMBER THAT NIGHT?</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">That night we skipped night class. You still remember why? Cause you used your TUITION money to buy earrings(AN ITEM WHICH YOU WERE OBSESSIVELY MAD ABOUT SINCE THE AGE OF 13)and you were so screwed weren't you? Cause your mum found out you havent paid you tutor and she wanted it back and you cried over it la! Lol. Damn funny, but it didnt stop there, that was right,we started talking about life and how irresponsible we've both become though O levels wasn't that far away.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">But the classic moment was when this love of mine paid for her food at Macs and dropped her wallet back into her bag and then after a few mins she goes, 'OMG! WHERE'S MY WALLET!', I swear it was so effing funny because she never changed since the age of 16 la!!! Thats how she was then, and it was always the WALLET like how it was the ezlink for me then and handphone now. (Shut up cupid)</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">But yes, I was laughing and I told her, 'Things really hasnt changed much Tia, you certainly haven.'</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">And we laughed nonstop and started on how Bambam would scold her till she cried, for always losing her wallet.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">There was a time we wanted to teach a lesson, we ended up teaching a few but to no improvement.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">She would simply cry when her wallet went 'missing', when we intentionally took it and pretended.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">And when the tears went above quota we would just place it back and she'll think nothing happened and start being careless again. Hahaha. Day in day out!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">But I think you were right about how it felt like to be opening up a diary and going through page and speaking about each and every memory.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">'Northland Guys' as so they were titled and still are, was also one of our topics and it was really so funny talking about it. And just so ya'll know those guys are the currents guys I usually talk about . Tnesh,Pravin,Oswind,Viknesh etc.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">So yes!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">See the reason why I can never forget Tia is because she has simply shared so many things with me regarding life. Among all of us, we both went through the same uptight controlled lifestyle.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Like how we all had curfews, Tia's and mine was almost similar.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">But member even better, 16 birthday had boys even. I was 4 years behind her man. Hahaha. ONLY during my 20th I could have them over, and that was also a surprise.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">But yeh, she always said, 'What they don't know won't hurt them.So I think its all about knowing what to tell to our parents.'</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Which was true cause eventually even if we have to literally be 2 persons we dealt with it fine.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Like how TEKONG, not the real tekong where guys go for NS, but its this park near our secondary school was our birthday area.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">Everyone's birthday was celebrated there, or most I should say. Like we even threw Pravin a party there la! Like Christ Church and Northland coincides in dear old Tekong park.</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">LOL. But really cause we obviously had to LIE to our parents that Speech day comes with a complimentary dinner just so we can return home later we obviously had to bring extra clothes to change into? And the moment we leave Tekong part somehow or rather we'll get changed and poof we're all clad in white&amp;green(uniform duh) and back home that once it even surprised the 'Northland guys' when they saw us at Woodlands Int wearing that.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">So then comes some emotional talks about our schoolmates/friends passing on and it impacted us cause we were a group no matter the ups and downs we all faced. And then came the part that Tia herself didnt know how it affected me?</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 102);">She remembered the way I was after my grandma's passing on. Navarathiris season down! Next...
Wednesday, September 30, 2009

Yay back with some proper updates.
Navarathiri's officially over ...and the past 10 days were great for me.
Fasting along with my lovies ...was nice.
And while they are done with their fast, mine's like going on till forever la.
Firewalking ceremony, and another fast afterwhich is why.

So yes, normally every year we dedicate the last day of 10 day to our Guru.
But since it fell on a Monday which was supposed to be 2 days ago, my teacher brought it in advanced and made it on the 8th day(Saturday!) and so we all went over at like 10 am with our usual fruit/flower platter and our jingles to receive blessing from our Guru.

The prayer only was going to begin at 1 ish, but we had performance the following day and so the hours before that we used for practise and of course cam-whoringgg! :)
Photobucket
:) All of them were so so pretty la, Sarves was astonishingly beautiful with her suit and her eye-work and she was so upset with us for not dressing up, but walau, we can't la, we had practise and grand suits don't help at all for Gaga and I.
Sindhu looked so pretty as well .

Photobucket
Gaga! :) In the middle. Hahaha.

Photobucket
That's Priya. =)

So like we had alot of flowers and we didnt offer all to my teacher I decided to have a rose on my ear, and though it was funny Gaga had it too, and so did Sindhu,Sarves and then basically the whold load of us! Damn cute la they!
Photobucket
I love them so much, they're my joy in class.

Photobucket
So pretttyyy!!

Photobucket
This like 1/3 the senior class, the others couldn't make it. BUT YES ! CHECK OUT THE ROSE!
So nice la. And thats obviously my Guru in green. :) The best choreographer I've came across.

Photobucket
I personally like this so much. And yes, my Guru's got a beautiful house uh.

Photobucket
It was really fun taking the 'perfect shot' , as my Guru wanted it pasted on the temples we were going perform end of this year. Which is the Murugan temple, the one we walk a few kilometers in Thaipusam.

Photobucket
United under the same passion.

Photobucket
I was thinking how the hell I became so short la...Then I realised Sarves and I were standing below the platform the other two were.

So yes, came Sunday, and I was like feeling scared la. Been a year since we performed.
And the thing to look forward to was Gaga,Sindhu,Sarves and I on the same stage after 10 years okayyyy.
So yes, Gaga's parents picked me up, while my parents and my lookalike sis made their way down to the Temple.
My other cousins couldnt come la sadly. :(
So yeh, South Bridge temple was FULL as always and we waited like 30 mins before our time began. And we were doing the opening dance dedicating to the Elephant God of course.

So yes! A few more photos!
Photobucket
:) I swear Sindhu's costume is such beauty la...I was loving it so much.

Photobucket
From left, Aichu,Shobi,Priya,Gaga,My teacher,Sindhu,Sarves and myself. :)

So Thrina came! I was glad to see her again. Like really glad. She's so suppportive I love her so much.

Photobucket
Missing you Thrina! :)

Photobucket
Thrina love. :)

Photobucket
Just before we began, and I swear even if the dance didnt tire me, the LIGHT, the OMG LIGHT, spotlight, shitlight was ON ME SO MUCH, THE HEAT PENETRATED all the way, it was a wonder my brains weren't roasted. Seriously, throughout the 12 mins of dance, the light wasn't helping me in anyways.

But the highlight of my teacher's dancers, were these 4 little girls who were amazingly cute and they received so much of applause from the crowd and you can imagine the wolf whistles from us.
THey were amazing!

Photobucket
Super cute la. Sindhu's cousin in yellow/navy blue combination.

Photobucket
:)

So yes! Performance went well! :)

On another note, school's starting and I'm dreading it la.
Only bright side is FYP but then it gets dark at times.
LOL.
Yana love,if you're reading this them please know that Mike's coming back on the 3rd only!
And like I can't meet on 4th and 5th due to the firewalking ceremony so call me soon k slut? Haha.

My holidays have been alright, meeting up with Gaga like almost everyday, and with Sindhu,Oswind as well as this annoying person but like yeh,it's been fun.

My dearest Tnesh has went back to camp after his long MC, and I've already missed him la.

Omg yesterday I was really really tired, so after I got home from meeting Gaga and Sindhu, I slept at like 8.30 pm la! Thinking I'd wake up at 11 atleast? But I ended up waking up at 2.30 am to realise I've got 8 new smses and 3 missed calls la!
Haha, sad part was I missed K7's call from JB la, he's apparently there for some school trip and so he claims!
Lol.
I like how he would call me and not call his sister(Gaga that is!Lol) ...hahaa. Adorable but a devil that lil one.

So my plans for this week!
Today : Meet up with Gaga laterrr.
Thursday : Not sure.
Friday : FYP meeting without Mike, as he's got his ass up at Indon now. Lol.
Sat : Supposedly do something we lovies need to do and in the evening temple to carry milkpot.
Sunday: Temple! To watch the Reanactment of the firewalking ceremony as well as to see the Bhajans, and Vinoth's like urging me to come and videooooo -.-, not that I mind la, but using his camera, then who's gona video for me?!

And like, to be really vague and out of subject... I really don't know where's this gona land in.
Sometimes I think being a social butterfly doesnt bring you good entirely!

Okay this is me!
I'm out.

I owe my AmyBombie a call, and so bro, hold up k?
I just get so busy with things I can't call la. SOON! I LOVE YOU! X

And to the cute Chindian girl Ashwini! Sunday, I'll see you k? Haha.
:) If its even possible to see you in the predictable crowd.

Godspeed and my Love.
catch upsss

Alot's been going down.
I am like super annoyed with the lack of my own laptop.
It annoys me so much that I end up heading over to my room like so early la.
But good thing is I got a new line.
Number's changed ya'll! After 2 frigging years!
I needed the change desperately.

I am like having a writer's block now.
I can't think what to say.

But here's the good news, I am getting my LAPTOP back tomorrow!
I swear I miss it too much.
I'll take extra care my lovies, I wont stomp on my keyboard k?
Lol.
And and and, I am gona be relief teaching tomorrow so yeh...but only down side is its a Tamil class.
But I've had enough experience teaching TAMIL in ENGLISH.
So I am gona do just that.
Waliao so difficult for me to speak in Tamil in the professional way la.

That aside, Navarathiri's still going on, 5th today and I've been going temple almost everyday.
I only missed yesterdaay.
On Monday I went to temple with the crew and it was fun.
Best part was JHB(My all time fav bhajan group) were there to perform.
And Sindhu got to watch them live which she really been wanting to for a while.
And it was all good. Right? Hahah, from the Praying moment to seeing... tsk tsk. Lol.

Obviously the guys from the group knew Oswind,Viknesh and Thinesh and they were talking after their session and then we all headed home.
I still think I've never met a better vocalist than Samsu.
His voice is amazing la.
And the other guys are just as awesome as well.

Well I am done!

I need to get my laptop right away!

Sammy and Amy I'm finally gona email ya'll!
Hold up k? :)

Sunday we're having our performance at SouthBridge temple.
And I hope all goes well! :)

Godspeed and my Love.
all that ends well stays well?

Photobucket
Slut Yana! I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT WISHING YOU ON TIME!
HAPPY HAPPY 19TH!
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! And I'll see you soon with your gift k? xx

You have no idea how much I miss you, Mike and Zirah.

I really miss our FYP days man.
I can't wait to see you all. :)

Photobucket
And then I was thinking the other day as to how I hate the Yishun area due to the 4567890123 Indians living there but ironically most of the guy friends I have come from there.
Tnesh balanced it up by living in Woodlands.

I was reading my archives in search of certain photos.

And I came across some interesting posts that made me laugh and made me frown.
Having a blog is good la!

See I was reading on how I was crazy in love with Yogi B and Natchatra.
And how I somehow got to contact Emcee Jesz and how I actually got to hang out with him a couple of times.
All these memories really gives me happiness.
Like yeh....I appreciate them all.

Photobucket
It started with an obsession in their music...

Photobucket
The first picture with Jesz. First perfect picture atleast.Lol.

Photobucket
I was still a good girl then, wearing pottu all. LoL.

Photobucket
This photo I likeee. :) He called me his biggest fan, or I think I made him to. LOL.

Photobucket
ANd now Jesz has his own album, own rocking videos... and though I don't mention him often, its nice to know that he'll always be nice enough to chat with me on FB. :)
So cheers to that. :)

THAT ASIDE...

Its irritating when you don't have your own laptop and you have to sit and wait around till your siblings decides to give his fingers/eyes a rest which RARELY happens by the way and then you lose all other interest to blog cause you don't know when your sibling would want to use his laptop again and so you have to rush through facebooking/msning and thats all the time you have.
I can go on!

But seriously!

MY LAPTOPS AT ACER BY THE BY. FOR 2 WEEKS NOW.
Cause I just decided to have it repaired!
Argh.

ANYWAYS!

First up!!
GOSSIP GIRL IS BACK!
And omg was it exhilarating or what!
I was initially so confused with B&C's relationship status.
Like how fun can it be to play the cheating Bass-tard and the scorn girlfriend!
But I guess anything goes with them.
They have so much of chemistry its just wow la!
Ya'll gotta watch it!!
Apart from B&C I like the new boy Scott!

Dramas aside, oh then again whats life without some right Gaga?
Hahaha.
I'm back at my primary school relief teaching.
And I had the best 2 days with the favourite class of mine.
They are P4s, and like quite a smart one too.
I've relief-ed them before and they are funny la.

So see there's this Malaysian Punjabi boy named Harjan.
And he carries a sling pouch along with his school bag,but he never puts down his sling bag, cause obviously his passport must be in right?
So after greeting them and exchanging some words on why their teacher isnt in school I begin lesson.
And this Harjan will start being so talkative with me and I happened to ask him, 'Are you carrying your bag because your passport is in?'
And that one will tell me, 'No, my grandmother's photo!' in his Punjabi accent and I couldnt help but laugh la!
So SARCASTIC LA!
So I said, 'Do you think your funny?' and he goes, 'No la cher(the short form of teacher) a bit..'
OMG LA.

And then there's this Chinese boy named Amos, super super adorable has this look of a future gamer.
So I asked him, 'Are you a gamer?' and his reply was astounding la!
"No I am an ADVENTURER!'' LO-effing-L LA!!!!
But he's my favourite student so much so he would rather pass PE and come with me to the staffroom la.
But of course I didnt allow that.
But seriously kids nowadays are brilliant.

I've got pictures of them, but since I am not having my laptop now, I can't transfer photos from my phone soon I will! :)
And then I return the next day back to their class and they were so happy, cause we love it when our teachers arent at class-duh.
But I made them do alot of work, and I actually had to go through with them answering all their questions which are at times RIDICULOUS.
Hahaha.

Oh and as you may have noticed.I've an added person under my links.
I actually have to revamp my blog layout, been so sick of it, as your people have noticed, my background's plain black now, with no more golden orbs. :(
Original user has that image removed from her photobucket.
SO YEH! :(
NO SAD SAD ah SINDHU! Lol.

But yes, see, remember how I mentioned that I had the chance to attend a house prayer and all?
It was my cousin's friend/ my RP junior, well he has a sibling.
A girl of course, she's by far the cutest most adorable Chindian I came across.
Something even Sindhu vouches for la!

But really, my brother and my cousins were commenting on how they've never seen a Chindian dress up so Indian and all which makes her even more adorable.
Cause she's really so cute in person/photo.
And she's nice as well. So love, you're one of kind that I have to share about that.
Its not always you come across nice Chindians, most of them are either oblivious to the fact they are still Indians or they are just too full of themselves.Like SOME people. Haha.

Oh and yes! I was amazed with myself today as to how spontaneous I was with constructing such inspiring phrases.
See I was talking to Tnesh about something and I said, 'I rather be disliked for my truth than to be liked for my fakeness.'
And member goes, 'Oh wow! I am astounded...bla bla', started with his dramatic expressions.
But I don't always get that from him, so it was a compliment all the same.
Hahaha.

And then Sindhu was reading through my archives and commented on how detailed I was then and now not anymore.
And I responded with this, "as we grown older we realise somethings are better savoured than shared."
Tsktsk, I ought to remember I was a bit good with words.
HAHA.
Well well, no use being good with words all when we can't get the things we want right love?
HAHA.
DVMDVMDVM.

See I was so bored in the staffroom during my free periods when I took out a paper and started jotting down my friends name.
Like everyone who has been in my mind that moment.
And then I think I wrote over 20 names.
And I divided it into 4 columns.
There was one which was Need and love alot, another was Need to continue being the way we are, Need to get closer and lastly was the bomb la, NEED TO EVEN KNOW!
HAHAHA. Gaga and Sindhu perfectly know who falls under the NEED TO EVEN KNOW!
Right guys? Lol.

But see, then I thought back on how many names I have under my first column.
And its alot, and I realised I really truly appreciate these friends of mine and even if I don't get to know the people I want to 'NEED TO EVEN KNOW' I will be alright.
Cause appreciating what we have is alot better than hoping for what we may not have.
Right? Lol.
But God forbid that happens. That 4 under the last catergory and we strike big! Lol.

Anyways, I am really excited, as there's this 'Salangai Oli' competition.
A classical dance competition for the first time in my history and so we were thinking if our Guru will allow our class people to take part.
And she did!
So yay for that, Sindhu's obviously representing the class, with Priya and Sarves I think they may just clinch the title! No they WILL be clinching it. :)
I am excited. All those who have graduated have to show their gots!

With Navarathiri(A 9 day special period dedicated to the Goddess) starting on the 19th, I will be temple-hopping alot just to see all the dances and bhajans even, that will be performed. Its the best time la.
I'm prolly gona be rotating among the north Temples.
So if ya'll are up join me!
You are joining me right Sindhu? Lol.

I need to watch UGLY TRUTH AND PHOBIA 2 NEXT WEEK!

Photobucket
Pavitra! You can just die, I am so so so tired of trying to meet you up for you
know what. :(

Photobucket
And and and Lalang I'll see you real soon at Avva's place. :)

Photobucket
Saw this one last week or so. He won't bother to contact me la! -.-

Photobucket
And he promised to take a day off from work and go along with us to where he works ; Night SAFARI! Yay! I've been wanting to go there la! Cause...LOL.

Photobucket
Nisha love!! Hang in there k. I hope to see you during our holy trips to temple once Navarathiri starts. :)

Photobucket
If there's something I learnt from Gaga is the fact that it doesnt matter what it takes to stand up for your bestfriend even if it means you're gona be disliked for it.
I know this is random friend, but I'll always look up to you.
Love you so much.

Photobucket
Random! I love it still!

Photobucket
:) Awesome moments.

And if I COULD honestly wish for something.
It would be the good old times I had with my dance mates.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Sometimes, all I do is sit down and think about our lovely moments together knowing it will take some time before we can have it again.
I'm always missing ya'll, so have all the fun in Perth you two. Love you two alot!
I'm gona do all it takes to come down next year. House me k one of ya'll! xx :)

Photobucket

Dear Thadj

Its been forever that I've known you.
From the age of 4, my my, its been 16 years uh.
And the fact that we still actually keep in touch, though not much, is something I truly appreciate.

I've seen you through your happy/sad(actually they were more bad than sad cause you arent exactly a remorseful person. :p)
moments and each time I knew that despite all the shit you went through there's this person who would want to succeed in life?

My secondary school days, specifically, my lower sec days were dramatic with you around.Nevertheless, I appreciate you truly for your lame and almost funny aura you always carried with you.

You were an ass to most but not me! So yay for that! It was nice getting that special treatment from you, though I was so sure it was because you knew I'd prolly tell your mum and you'd die! Lol.

But seriously, as you turn 20 today, I genuinely wish you all the best for the next phase of your life which deserves to be the best.I know you will step it up and waste no more time for all that you've went through.

The past years we've been far from each other literally and not so literally but I know that the past years you've always been lingering somewhere in my thoughts and I hope you would know that regardless the distance whatsoever, you always meant alot to me and still do.

Its like how someone affects you so much in one phase of life and that mark never leaves or fades? You mark will stay.

I'll always be there for you. I will. And I think you know that too.

So have a freaking 20th!!
I wish to see you soon, along with my Elan-dearest! Haha.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY IDIOT!

Much loves and misses, your secondary school savior(I was the best friend you could ever have k!Always getting you out of trouble)! Hahahaha.
Sunday Mass Bhajans were rocking!
Tuesday, September 08, 2009

I appreciate my cousins, specifically my Seanpaul cousin for everything he's done.
Like through him I get to see things and engage myself with things I really love?

So I got invited through him to this house prayers and that was simply because he knew the group that were gona be singing the devotional songs was the group I really like cause they're awesome!

And the prayers was simply so so so beautiful la.
I got to see alot of things but didnt get to see one thing. Lol.

Okay so yes, I went to this guy's house. He's a friend of my cousin, and he's a junior at RP too.
And seriously,it was sucha grand one la.
Really really felt the vibes after some time.
The bhajan guys were awesome as usual, but Vinod wasnt there and he was missed la.
His voice is really good.

So yeh afterwhich cousins,my brother and I headed home for a late dinner and 2 of my cousins stayed over as we had a Mass Bhajan to attend the next day which I never heard of before and was looking forward cause the same guys who sang in the prayers were one of the groups who were gona be singing.
Oh yeh they're named Jai Harithras Bhajan.

And the mass bhajan started at 9 in the morning and we were there to show support to JH Bhajans.
And like 10 groups were involved? And so... like everytime a group sings a song their turns end.
And a song lasts for like 10 mins, and then the next group sings.
So since JH Bhajan group was the last in queue I had to wait like 90 mins before seeing them in action.
It was a painstaking wait k!
8/10 groups were really making noise...like omg noise...forgetting that a mike amplifies their voice they scream into the mike and it was ohsopainful to my ears.
And I wanted to video the guys I came for and so I did.

I swear the first song was AWESOMELY beautiful, like all the other groups were really taken aback. That I gauged by their claps at the end of it. Cause these guys were the youngest but they really sang as if they've been singing for a long time.
And the first song was a dedication to Lord Shiva, and so dear old brother of mine was obviously loving it and so was I.
The vocalist who's nick named as Paruthi was so so talented la, he actually penned down the song himself?

And Vinod played the tavil(One of the Indian drums) and the remaining guys played the other instruments/clapped/sing along.
And it was mind blowing honestly.
And one more thing I really liked was their uniform? Like most groups wore same colour or same tailored suits but these boys were a variety of similar tops, and these tops had like the 'OM' prints on them.

And then the cycle repeats, one song per group and I waited for another hour for the second song okay! And it wasnt as if all the songs sang by the different groups were really pleasant.
I thought that since JH Bhajans were the last, I shall take it as the best for the last, so waiting shouldnt be an issue.

Second song was alright ...but the the beautiful part of that was Paruthi the vocalist, went one step higher and played a mouth-keyboard/organ.
Like he would blow into the keyboard and play the notes. Cause he wanted to play the snake tune which is not possible unless you have the original instrument meant for it?
But these guys are simply blessed la. They are so talented and I respect them so much.
Check it out! (Last 1.45 mins)

And 2 more songs before the mass bhajan came to an end, so like I was there from 9 to like 2 and only heard 4 songs being sung by JH Bhajans lor.
So I was looking forward to the 3rd and 4th song as Vinod was the vocalist and I think he's an open-throat singer so singing into the mike wasn't entirely working out for him but still his voice is nice.
And so this was their third song, the same song he sang in my house prayer.

And lastly!

The first 30 seconds I love cause it involved mainly the drums and they played it so nicely.I love the beats from the smaller one which Vinod plays.

Yep, so thats how my Sunday morning-noon went. And afterwhich they had a mass Urumi(Another famous Indian drum) session. And that was 80% more on the drum playing than singing.
And I am not exactly a fan of that. So yeah, all the guys who came to support JHB were talking and I was waiting for them to be done and finally off home!

And I went over to Gaga's place cause her mum threw a feast for Viknesh who was going of to camp soon which was yesterday. And afterwhich I came back home and did up all the videos and uploaded them! Efficient or what.

But what I didn't expect at all was the call made for me by Vinod the following day(Monday).
He called my brother to ask if he could have my number. Somehow he saw the videos I uploaded.
But since my line's down -.- -.- -.- , my bro passed his phone to me and Vinod was really nice to thank me for the videos la.
But I honestly didn't do it for them or anything of that sort, only cause they're worth being recorded to be watched again. And my brother went all the way to even connect his camera to my tv so we can watch it in a clearer definition. Hahaha. But yes, I think these guys are awesome.

And so 4 Oct, a day before firewalking ceremony, they'll be performing along with the group that came to my house prayers ? I don't know whats their group name, but these 2 groups, probably the best two I've heard are performing at 2 pm at South Bridge temple. So Yay for me! :)

I hate the fact that I don't have a phone la, I didnt really mind till earlier.
My bestfriend's in hospital to have his appendix removed, and he was admitted yesterday and I only knew today and like his sis had to leave me an offline message in MSN.Thank God she thought of that.

I am off now!
Seconday school catch ups
Sunday, September 06, 2009

I know its been damn long but seriously my past 1 week has been honestly heartwarming.
It started on 31st August when I decided to head down to my Secondary school to meet up my fellow teachers and what pleasant surprise it was to see Jeronme,Joel and Justin.
Haha.

And it was a good thing for me. I had fun.
I really had fun spending time with Juen and the rest.
Daniel who was supposed to join us didnt cause he overslept and so we ended up meeting for lunch and then proceeded to Iluma to see 2 other friends from my Secondary school.

See, I ended up doing something I would never thought I would la.
Jeronme and Daniel will just assume I am gona go with the flow and so through Angela who was working at this super posh Lan Shop we settled for L4D.
And I really didnt mind much as I've heard about how L4D is and we had discount and so it was so cheap for 2 hours.
I gamed la. OMG ARE YOU KIDDING? I knoww I gamed!!
Hahaha, so Jeronme,Daniel and Juen thought they were damn funny to keep me locking me out of this emergency door cause I obviously don't know 'E' was to open/close the damned door? And they will create a tank and and that asshole of a zombie will start attacking me!
OMG! I played as the Human la.
And walau, the fun thing was we all had like headphone/speaker so we could talk and didnt have to literally face each other and yell cause when I needed help I just need to yell but no they intentionally scared me by disallowing me to enter the room and purposely creating a tank!
THANKS DANIEL!!
Damn it.
Hahaha.

But it was a good day with the best classmates I can ever ask for.We had a good time speaking about our Sec 4 days and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We made plans to meet up soon and its just beautiful isnt it?
We graduated in 2005 and its 2009 and we still have shitloads to speak about laugh about.

So yes, seeing as it was time for me to walk down memory lane, I made plans and finally made it happen to meet up with Tia.
Haha, we were rather ambitious to head down to Causeway though we lived like 5 mins from each other and since it rained that day we just settled for the Macdonalds at Admiralty.
Seeing her immediately brought me back memories right from the time we started talking.
She has become alot more prettier than I remember.

I just felt so comfortable sharing all that has been going down for me and I was really happy she shared her stuffs too. Like its a bond which doesnt need to be strengthened by meeting/talking but the mutual understanding trust and love we'll always have for each other.
I will still always remember you for the way you stood up for me love! No one did that for me then, but only you.
And yes, after reading your blog, I realised! OMG YOU REMEMBER THAT NIGHT?
That night we skipped night class. Lol. Damn funny, but it didnt stop there, that was right,we started talking about life and how irresponsible we've both become though O levels wasn't that far away.

But the classic moment was when this love of mine paid for her food at Macs and dropped her wallet back into her bag and then after a few mins she goes, 'OMG! WHERE'S MY WALLET!', I swear it was so effing funny because she never changed since the age of 16 la!!! Thats how she was then, and it was always the WALLET like how it was the ezlink for me then and handphone now. (Shut up cupid)
But yes, I was laughing and I told her, 'Things really hasnt changed much Tia, you certainly haven.'
And we laughed nonstop and started on how Bambam would scold her till she cried, for always losing her wallet.
There was a time we wanted to teach a lesson, we ended up teaching a few but to no improvement.
She would simply cry when her wallet went 'missing', when we intentionally took it and pretended.
And when the tears went above quota we would just place it back and she'll think nothing happened and start being careless again. Hahaha. Day in day out!

But I think you were right about how it felt like to be opening up a diary and going through page and speaking about each and every memory.

'Northland Guys' as so they were titled and still are, was also one of our topics and it was really so funny talking about it. And just so ya'll know those guys are the currents guys I usually talk about . Tnesh,Pravin,Oswind,Viknesh etc.
So yes!

See the reason why I can never forget Tia is because she has simply shared so many things with me regarding life. Among all of us, we both went through the same uptight controlled lifestyle.
Like how we all had curfews, Tia's and mine was almost similar.
But member even better, 16 birthday had boys even. I was 4 years behind her man. Hahaha. ONLY during my 20th I could have them over, and that was also a surprise.
But yeh, she always said, 'What they don't know won't hurt them.So I think its all about knowing what to tell to our parents.'

Which was true cause eventually even if we have to literally be 2 persons we dealt with it fine.
Like how TEKONG, not the real tekong where guys go for NS, but its this park near our secondary school was our birthday area.
Everyone's birthday was celebrated there, or most I should say. Like we even threw Pravin a party there la! Like Christ Church and Northland coincides in dear old Tekong park.
LOL. But really cause we obviously had to LIE to our parents that Speech day comes with a complimentary dinner just so we can return home later we obviously had to bring extra clothes to change into? And the moment we leave Tekong part somehow or rather we'll get changed and poof we're all clad in white&green(uniform duh) and back home that once it even surprised the 'Northland guys' when they saw us at Woodlands Int wearing that.

So then comes some emotional talks about our schoolmates/friends passing on and it impacted us cause we were a group no matter the ups and downs we all faced. And then came the part that Tia herself didnt know how it affected me?
She remembered the way I was after my grandma's passing on. She remembered how I pointed exactly where my grandma lost her life in my house and she remembered how I loved her.
And I was taken aback. I was so shocked I swear. And she didnt just say it but she said it from her point of view, like she went, 'Yeah and you can look at the place your grandma left cause you love her...and you can walk across her room knowing she might be there and not get scared cause there's love.'

Thank you Tia for all that. I genuinely appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. Yep, so that catch up session with her went really well and fun I think more of these now and then would be heartwarming. :)
This time with the rest of them yes?

So yeh, come Thursday, I met up with Daniel and Juen after I got done with relief teaching at dear old Fuchun. And we were off for a dinner treat from Daniel and he's going to camp soon we made him treat us. Lol. And we got a share of punishment for that la!!
My laptop spoilt afterwhich and Juen got summoned.
Damned!

But nice thing was the chilling at this Thai restaurant where we met Andrew a while and we off home. I think thats about all till my next post. I am certainly glad I am getting back in touch with my secondary school mates, sometimes the joy and laughs they provide me with no one else. :) I am happy that though they were only in my life for one period of time that phase was beautiful and I would give anything I can to get it all back.

Till the next time.

NO laptop NO hp.
-.-

Godspeed and my love.
i love you amy :)
