BEST prayers thus far!

The prayers at my place was THE B-O-M-B!

Seriously, from the start till the very end, all I felt was good great vibes .
The vibrations in my house was lifted as the day went by and it could be felt.

So I slept at 2 am on Sunday morning waking up 4 hours later feeling DAMN tired.
And then preparations started, this year's prayers was a tad bit grand as we had the priest over to actually conduct it.

And it was firstly a Ganapathi Omum(The Elephant God prayers) and then followed by Lakshimi(The Goddess of Wealth) prayers for the married women.
And yes, the first prayers went really well, and all of us were part of it till it was time for the married women to gather.
And everything fell in place nicely.
I just think that it was the best prayers.

The two pots there symbolises, Lord Shiva and his wife, and the lemons around them signifys the 9 planets.
And I never noticed that the lemons were on different coloured textiles till my bro pointed it out la!!
That is to differentiate the different planets lor.

And my dad,mum and bro sat infront, INFRONT of the fire thing la, so throughout the prayer th e priest keeps adding some symbolic dried goods to create the smoke that cures alot of things but it brings tears la.
And I was crying la so badly. My whole house was smoky but yes it was for the good.

This wasn't that bad ay, fire was small.

The favourite priest! He's damn good la.

See Nisha there?! She was so nice to come so early and help me out here and there la.

The house got smokier and the tears kept flowing la. Those who wore lens didnt have one tear la!
I should haven worn uh!?

Then my mum's friends, the temple usual aunties who were there sat down to sing a few devotional songs, and I wasn't counting on it much, cause yearly I hear the SAME songs la!
Lol.
So bad ah.
But yeh, there was this girl who comes and she sings well too.

And while they started singing, the second prayer for the women began and my brother and my Seanpaul Cousin hit the sack immediately la.

Did I mention how beautiful my prayer room was? Seriously, it couldnt be any more prettier.

Hahaha, so cute la the priest. He's so good la seriously.

See Lalang couldnt come and I was so bummed la.
Cupid, Ossy boy and K7 came.
Thini dint come too sadly.

But yes, I really loved it when the aunty whom usually gets her trance got it, and I don't know, I remember just falling at her feet getting her blessings and the hand gestures she showed me made me ....but she presented me with a lemon. And I took it as a form of blessings of course.
But like it was an emotional one for my brother and a rather high voltaged one too.
All I know was I am glad the goddess' presence was felt in my house during that afternoon.

After that tiring day, lunch was served oh and thats when Ossy Boy and K7 came la, and they'll claim how they came at THE right time.
Hahahaha.
Damn funny la.
And Nisha was helping me serve and all.I REALLY am so thankful for her.
And yes, my dance mate Sarves came too! And along with Cupid they were helping as well.
I've got the best of girlfriends uh!!

So yes, after everyone left, and I made Cupid, Ossyboy and K7 assure me that they'll come back for round 2 in the evening which was purely Bhajans (Devotional songs) time, I went to chill with my wonderful cousins and was talking about things.

And for a few hours all we did was chat chat chat, and then we all went as a group to buy 4d! Lol and then proceeded to have some dessert.

And then I fell asleep, damn tired la, and woke up at 6 ish to get ready all over again for the Bhajan group.
And more importantly, I was anticipating the arrival of this guy 'Thambi' whose actual name is Vinod la.
He sings damn well, and he's like the best singer I've seen for devotional songs, and he always comes and sings for us for Thaipusam/Panguni.

SO the group came, nicely clad in green and orange. 3 girls came along too also in that theme.
Hahaha, and they started off the songs.
I swear I enjoyed it so much.
Really really did.
When they sang the first song, which obviously has to be a song about the Elephant God, I couldnt help but think about certain people. And throughout that emotional time for me, the person kept coming in my head and I know I prayed so hard for them and for everyone else who was present there.
And I felt good. I literally prayed for even the Bhajans people who came to sing praise of our Lord which I am so thankful for.

And the guy playing the tavil(drum) was damn good la, can sing so well as well!!!

And then came the most emotional time for most of us cousins. It was a blessing moment for all.
Really really.
And I am glad.
Details aside, its a night I can't and won't attempt to forget.
To have all your prayers answered.
I am glad she received it all.
Once again, I got this leaves from her and she gestured me to sleep with it under my pillow.
I only know one thing for sure, the Goddess was at my house that day. She was felt.
She was. :)
And all those who were there and who believes in her felt the same too.

Did I mention how happening the bhajans were?(Can I just go on about it!!)
From the start, they sang such beautiful songs and the whole aura of my house was beautiful la.
The vibrations were lifted even higher and all of us were enjoying it.
Gaga,Ossy Boy and K7 came too. I know how OssyBoy really enjoying the bhajans singing along. :)

And then finally comes the most awaited singer, Vinod.
And like the nicest thing was the Bhajan group people were totally shocked when they saw him cause they knew him, and their faces were all excited upon seeing him, cause I guess they know he sings well too.
So yes, the Vinod came with 3 other friends.
And of course OssyBoy knows them la.
Hahahhaa.

So yeh, one of the 3 guys who came along with Vinod sings damn well too, and he's hidden by Vinod in this video, but his voice is outstanding.

Hari Narayana's the song, this the song sang by the main lead singer.He's damn expressive la, like him and the guy hitting the tavil will like have so many expressions and head movements la. So nice to see. HAHAH.

The highlight of the night, he's my fav singer! :) HE'S TOO GOOD LA.I can just hear him sing and sing and sing and sing. (KK Lalang, relax I know) But he's that awesome. And NOW I can't wait for Thaipusam just to hear him sing. Haha.

So yes! IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL night, and my cousins all loved how the day started and ended with a bang.
I had the best prayer with the best singers as visualized and I am truly happy.

The girls who came to sing were nice too la, I didn't really talk to them till after the Bhajans ended which was 9.45pm, starting at 8, and then came dinner for them.
Gaga helped me serve as well! Yay!
And thats when I spoke to the girls.

And afterwhich most of them left leaving my cousins behind and us and we were discussing more about how good we all felt and I died till the next day la!
I loved every moment of it.
And I realise I truly respect and love people who can really sing well la, especially if they are devotional singers!

And I think this is the most happening prayer at my place ever! :)
